Docking Station Systems
1- Dock leveler with swinging lip: The loading dock levelers have been developed to compensate the gap between the loading dock and the truck, and to allow the access of trolleys and pallet trucks. Electro-hydraulic dock leveler with swinging lip is ideal for trucks rear loading as it acts as a bridge between the loading space and the vehicles.
(Designed and built according to EN 1398 standards.).
They are simple and quick to install and, as they are manufactured in different standard sizes, they fit in any premises, always ensuring total safety. The front of the lip is bent and beveled to allow better adjustment to the vehicle floor, and the whole top sheet has a non-slip coarse surface to make it easier for the movement of any vehicle.
The dock levelers for loading bays are characterized for having a very intuitive operation, easy to operate and maintain to learn and for being very strong; the structure is designed to withstand sporadic loads greater than the usual ones, and admits up to 10 centimeters cross-slope of the vehicle.
They are carefully designed according to the different requirements of each project and they can be manufactured with various kind of finishes: powder painted steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel or the mixed version of stainless and galvanized steel. The choice of the kind of material will depend on the day-to-day use and the environment where they will be installed, for example, areas at risk of corrosion or the use of harsh cleaning products presenting oxidation risks.
2- Sectional door: Overhead sectional door is made up of horizontal panels that slides on wheels inside the lateral rails; it is equipped with several joints among the panels which allows it to bend near the ceiling and arranges itself parallel to the ceiling, the standard length of the opening is: 2500x3000H
PANEL-HINGES: thickness from 40 mm – 80 mm. for additional thermal insulation, the panel is made up of galvanized steel sheet.
SEALS: All the seals are of age-proof EPDM and PVC:
TRACKS: Galvanized steel tracks that are cold-profiled with a suitable shape for the safe housing of the lateral trucks
SPRINGS: They are used for door’s compensation balance, they are made of steel and are placed in the upper side of the tracks, on a sunken shaft directly connected to the wire wrapping pulleys.
PULLEYS: Made of melted aluminum and equipped with helical grooves for the housing of the wires used to lift the door, they can have different shapes depending on the sliding structure.
SAFETY DEVICES: Fall-proof and with a finger-protection system that immediately unlocks the door in case the traction wires or torsion springs break.
LOCK: Side padlock that may be opened from the outside by using a Yale cylinder.
Internal color: Standard white RAL 9002
External color: Standard white RAL 9002
3- Dock shelter : Is ideal for separating the loading bays and vehicle entrances of industrial buildings from atmospheric agents, dust and attenuating heat loss to the outside, which ensures optimal working conditions for operators. The truck, during the docking operation, is wrapped by the portal sheets ensuring insulation from the outside, the particular pantograph structure that composes it makes it compressible and supports any accidental collisions of the truck from incorrect maneuvering, thus avoiding any damage to the building. The standard black sheets and the structure have been designed to ensure resistance to bad weather, light, wear and abrasion.
